Threefold is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, volunteers, clients, visitors, and members of the public. We aim to eliminate or minimise hazards and risks to health and safety as far as is reasonably practicable.


Responsibilities and Commitment


Management Responsibilities

Compliance with Legislation:

Ensure the company complies with all relevant health and safety legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth), and applicable state and territory laws, codes of practice, and safety guidance materials.


Hazard and Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and eliminate or control all workplace hazards and risks to health and safety as far as is reasonably practicable. This includes conducting regular risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures.


Training and Information:

Provide adequate information, instruction, and training to all employees, contractors, and volunteers to enable them to perform their work safely and without risk to health.


Supervision and Monitoring:

Ensure effective supervision and monitoring of all work activities to confirm they are conducted safely and in accordance with established safe work procedures.


Consultation and Involvement:

Actively consult with and involve employees in all matters relating to health, safety, and wellbeing. Encourage open communication and feedback to continuously improve our health and safety performance.


Safety Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Ensure that appropriate safety equipment and PPE are provided and maintained for use by all employees, contractors, and volunteers as required by the nature of their work.


Injury Management and Return to Work:

Develop and maintain a suitable injury management and return to work program, providing support and assistance to employees who are injured or ill as a result of their work activities.



Employee Responsibilities

Personal Responsibility:

Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their actions at work.


Adherence to Procedures:

Follow all safe work procedures, instructions, and rules established by Threefold.


Participation in Training:

Actively participate in all safety training programs and initiatives provided by the company.


Reporting:

Report all health and safety hazards, risks, incidents, and injuries promptly to management or a designated safety representative.


Use of Safety Equipment and PPE:

Use all safety equipment and PPE provided by the company as instructed and ensure it is maintained in good condition.
