  • Customer Satisfaction: Meet or exceed client expectations through the delivery of high-quality work that is completed on time and within budget.

  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of our operations to enhance quality and efficiency.

  1. Roles and Responsibilities

Project Manager:

Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan, ensuring compliance with all quality standards, and coordinating with the site team and project stakeholders.

Quality Assurance Coordinator:

Responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Assurance Plan, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring all quality control procedures are followed.

Site Supervisors:

Responsible for monitoring daily activities to ensure quality standards are met, conducting regular inspections, and reporting any deviations or issues to the Project Manager.

  1. Quality Control Procedures

Pre-Construction Quality Planning:

Prior to the commencement of work, Threefold will develop a detailed Inspection Test Plan (ITP) tailored to the specific requirements of the project. The ITP will outline all inspections, tests, and approvals necessary to ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the project specifications and quality standards.

Inspection Test Plan (ITP) Reference:

Our basic ITP document, "Threefold - Inspection Test Plan - Basic," serves as a template for developing site-specific inspection test plans. This document includes checkpoints such as panel installation, door and window fittings, penetrations, and completion checks. For each project, a customised ITP will be created once the design phase is complete to ensure alignment with specific project requirements.

Materials Inspection and Approval:

All materials will be inspected upon delivery to the site to ensure they meet the specifications and quality requirements outlined in the contract documents. Any materials failing to meet these standards will be rejected and replaced.

Workmanship Quality Control:

Regular inspections will be conducted throughout the construction process to verify that all work is being performed according to the plans and specifications. This includes checking that panels are installed plumb and level, joints are even and sealed, and all finishes are neat and clean.

Non-Conformance Reporting and Corrective Actions:

Any deviations from the specified quality standards will be documented using a Non-Conformance Report (NCR). Corrective actions will be taken immediately to address any issues, and all NCRs will be reviewed to prevent recurrence.

  1. Documentation and Records

Quality Records Maintenance:

All employees will receive training on the Quality Assurance Plan and the specific quality control procedures relevant to their work. This includes understanding the ITP and the importance of adhering to quality standards.

Site-Specific Inspection Test Plan Development:

Threefold is committed to the ongoing professional development of our team members, ensuring they remain knowledgeable about the latest industry standards and best practices.

  1. Continuous Improvement and Review

Quality Performance Review:

The Quality Assurance Plan will be reviewed regularly to assess its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Feedback from clients, site teams, and other stakeholders will be used to refine our quality management processes continuously.

Audits and Evaluations:

Periodic audits will be conducted to evaluate compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan and ITP. Findings from these audits will be used to implement corrective actions and improve our quality management system.

Threefold Panels Pty Ltd is committed to achieving the highest standards of quality in all our projects. By following this Quality Assurance Plan and developing site-specific Inspection Test Plans, we will ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the project requirements and to the satisfaction of our clients.
